Our Story
started at camp.
In the summer of 2010, Vickie was there as a camp nurse and low-rope course instructor, and Tres was back for his 4th year running sound for the band he was working with at the time. They hardly talked until the day before he left when he intentionally hurt himself so he could visit the cute nurse. They became friends over the next year and decided to give long distance a try a year later, since Vickie had already moved to Maryland. After plenty of cross-country flights and countless Skype dates, Vickie convinced Tres to move to Maryland in the winter of 2013, and the rest is history.
